Truffle Hunting
An hidden treasure, a precious fruit of our region, the black gold of Umbria, The King Truffle, comes from the simplicity of the earth and expresses all its value in the most delicious dishes. Share with us the experience of the search and hunt of the truffle. Our expert truffle hunters Andrea and Lamberto with their dogs, will join you in the discovery of this jewel of the ground in a private estate through a path accessible to everyone in a unique environment and according to the season of truffles.
Our Extra Virgin Oil
Frantoio Leccino and Moraiolo, are the three types of olive trees that characterize our olive groves. It is from these plants, rich in symbols and history, that our extra virgin olive oil comes from. The property owns about 1000 olive trees with the DOP (certification of protected origin) and ORGANIC certification. Still today our family takes care of the whole production of olive oil from the harvesting to the mill where the traditional cold pressing takes place which represents the heart of our culture and traditions.
If you stay in our farmhouse during the harvest months, between October and December, you can experience how to harvest the olives and see the production of extra virgin olive oil. Follow a tasting course to learn how to discover all the most interesting features of this ancient product.
